Do you have what it takes to survive a Death by 5k Challenge? Starting in 2017 and growing increasingly popular each year, RunStrong Event’s Death by 5k requires participants to complete ten 5ks over the course of 24 hours, starting each 5k 2.5 hours apart. This format creates a strong sense of camaraderie among participants, but also challenges participants physically, mentally and emotionally. Physical fatigue, sleep deprivation, adverse weather, and many more factors have an impact on performance, making this challenge one of the hardest (and most fun) ways to complete a 50k.
